Why it exists
Most ideas die in the gap between noticing something and having time to write it properly.
Notes close that gap. They are allowed to be wrong.
Core idea
A note is a claim with a date on it. That is the whole discipline.
The ones that keep resurfacing eventually become writing; the rest stay as a record of what I thought at the time.

I mark changes of mind as their own category so the record stays honest.
How it works
Each entry carries a date and a category: observation, synthesis, build log, or change of mind.
Nothing is edited out later. Corrections are added as new entries.

Interpretation: The change-of-mind entries are the only ones I reread.
Experiment: Keeping notes public while still unfinished.
