Frameworks
Repeatable ways to see and act, extracted from real projects.
A framework is a decision shortcut someone else can run. Everything else is a diagram.
Each framework here traces back to a build or a room that produced it.
Why it exists
People kept asking how a room, a residency or a build was structured. Writing it once is cheaper than explaining it weekly.
This page is the structured version of those answers.
Core idea
A framework earns its place when a stranger can run it and get a comparable result.
Each one should name what it is bad at.

How I think about it
Constraints do more work than frameworks. Most of mine are just constraints with better manners.
If it needs a workshop to explain, it is not a framework yet.
How it works
Each framework states the situation it suits, the steps, and the failure mode.
Anything untested in a real room is labelled as an experiment, not a framework.

Questions and tensions
Fact: Night School has run since 2018 with 500+ sessions, which is where most of these formats were tested.
Interpretation: The room format transfers better than any written framework I have produced.
Experiment: Publishing failure modes next to each framework.
Ambition: Frameworks that outlive my involvement in the work that produced them.
